About Sherra

Sherra M. Profit returned to practice law in Summerside and joined Key Murray Law as an associate after growing up in Charlottetown and practicing in Summerside and Alberton for 16 years. She then completed a five-year term as Canada's Taxpayers' Ombudsman before rejoining private practice. Sherra has experience across family law, business and corporate law, property and real estate, wills and estates, criminal law, administrative law, and personal injury, and has extensive training in conflict resolution, including interest-based negotiation, collaborative law, and mediation. She earned a B.A. in anthropology from St. Francis Xavier University in 1996 and an LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan in 1999, and was called to the bar of Prince Edward Island in 2000.
