D. Shannon Farrell, KC is a partner in Key Murray Law's Charlottetown office, focusing on family law, administrative law, and litigation. She began her career in nursing, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Francis Xavier University before studying law at Dalhousie University. Shannon holds certificates in mediation, collaborative practice, and interest-based negotiation, and is a member of the Family Dispute Resolution Institute (Atlantic). She was recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Lawyers in Canada for family law and routinely appears before the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island and various regulatory boards and tribunals. She chairs the Ethics Committee of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and previously served as PEI Branch President of the Canadian Bar Association.
