About Shemay

Shemay Lee maintains a diverse practice with a focus on civil litigation, having represented clients before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and assisted with trials in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the BC Court of Appeal. Before joining MacKenzie Fujisawa she articled at one of Canada's leading litigation firms and at a prominent Vancouver family law firm. She earned her J.D. at Thompson Rivers University, where she received the Dean's Course Prize for Civil Procedure, worked at the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, and volunteered at the Thompson Rivers University Community Legal Clinic. She is fluent in English and Cantonese, with limited working proficiency in Mandarin.
