Shawn M. Ferron

About Shawn

Shawn M. Ferron is a barrister, solicitor and notary public who focuses his practice on family law, child protection, real estate and wills and estates matters. He is a member of the Legal Aid Ontario roster in family law and child protection, and represents both private and legal aid clients. Ferron grew up in Sudbury, Ontario, earned a Bachelor's degree in Law and Economics from Laurentian University in 2016, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Moncton's Faculty of Law in 2019. He articled at Cedric Nahum Law in Ottawa, gaining experience in criminal and child protection law, before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2021. He joined the former ELH Law as an associate under founder Ember-Leigh Hamilton and took over the practice, renamed Ferron Legal, in 2023.
