Ferron is bilingual in English and French and sits on the Legal Aid Ontario roster for family law and child protection. Melanie A. Dekoker, also a barrister, solicitor and notary public, worked as a licensed paralegal starting in 2019 before earning a Juris Doctor from Queen's University in 2024 and being licensed as a lawyer by the Law Society of Ontario in 2025. Ferron Legal accepts both private clients and Legal Aid Ontario certificates.
