About Sharon

Sharon Goldberg is counsel at Donovan Kochman LLP, where she practices exclusively in estate planning and administration, spending much of her time advising estate trustees on their duties. She began her career at a full-service firm on Bay Street before starting her own solo practice as a young mother, continuing to focus on estate planning, administration, and litigation. She later joined Donovan Kochman as part of her succession planning. Sharon earned her BSc in psychology from the University of Toronto in 1982 and her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1986, and she has completed the Canadian Securities Course. She has served on the OBA's Trusts and Estates Section executive, taught in the Law Society's Bar Admission Course, and co-authored a paper on probate tax planning.
