About Shannon
Shannon LaFontaine is an Associate Lawyer at Garfin Zeidenberg focusing on family law. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021 after articling at a general practice, where broad exposure to different areas of law led her to family law, and she joined the firm's family law team that August. Shannon assists clients through separation, divorce, custody, and support disputes. She graduated from the University of Adelaide Law School, where she won awards for Best Moot Team and for the highest mark in Strategic Space Law, and volunteered at a legal advice clinic helping clients with small claims matters. Before law school, she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and public policy from the University of Guelph.
