About Shaganpreet

Shaganpreet Singh Sooch is a founding partner of Bench Law Office LLP and chose the firm's name. He earned his law degree from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India, where he volunteered in slum communities to raise awareness of people's legal rights and, early in his career in India, represented individuals facing poverty who otherwise lacked legal representation. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2021 and has since concentrated his practice on immigration and real estate law. Having immigrated to Canada himself, he draws on that experience in assisting individuals and families with immigration applications and in reuniting family members with relatives already in Canada.
