About Seth

A founding partner of Freedman Benipal Wu LLP, Seth Freedman concentrates on business law, mortgage and private lending, and residential and commercial real estate, serving clients throughout Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area. He guides buyers, sellers, developers, investors and lenders through every stage of a transaction, from the agreement of purchase and sale through to closing. He acts regularly for private lenders, mortgage investment corporations and mortgage brokerages, reviewing their loan and security documents to identify and resolve issues before they affect a deal. Before co-founding the firm in 2026, Freedman practised real estate and corporate law at established Toronto firms, acting on residential and commercial transactions, mortgage financing and corporate matters.
