About Sepideh
Sepideh Alimirzaee is a partner in McQuarrie's litigation department. She joined the firm as an associate in 2019 after working as in-house counsel for a Vancouver construction company. Her practice covers corporate, partnership, and contract disputes, and she's built a particular focus on challenging denied insurance claims, including life insurance, long-term disability, and critical illness coverage disputes against major Canadian insurers. She was recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada for insurance law and spoke at a 2023 conference on litigating against insurers.
