About Lisa
Lisa R. Lifshitz is a partner who practises exclusively in technology, privacy and cybersecurity law. As chair of the firm's Technology Group, she prepares and negotiates a wide range of agreements, including internet, e-commerce, cloud computing and fintech arrangements, along with deals involving artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. She represents both vendors and users of technology, serving private and public sector clients including federal and provincial governments. As chair of the Privacy & Data Management Group, Lisa advises on trans-border data transfers, breach coaching and compliance with Canadian privacy and anti-spam laws. She has written and presented extensively on technology and privacy topics, including contributing to several American Bar Association publications.
