About Sean
Sean Hawkins is an associate lawyer practising corporate, securities, and commercial law, advising clients on securities offerings, going-public transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and commercial contracts. He has advised public and private companies across several industries, including mining and technology, on corporate law requirements and stock exchange compliance. He received his JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, where he volunteered with the Law Students' Legal Advice Program and served as Executive Editor of the UBC Law Review. Sean joined Maxis Law after articling at a boutique firm specializing in real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law, and contributes to the securities law chapter of the British Columbia Company Law Practice Manual.
