Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionScott McAnsh is a partner at NextGenLaw LLP focused on property tax litigation across Ontario. He is a former Vice-Chair of the Ontario Assessment Review Board, where he helped design the current appeal process and authored leading decisions in assessment law. McAnsh regularly represents clients before the Assessment Review Board, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada, and has secured property tax exemptions for charities and non-profits, including as counsel in Stamford Kiwanis Non-Profit Homes Inc. v. Municipal Property Assessment Corporation. He also works as an independent investigator, mediator, and adjudicator on sport maltreatment complaints for national sports organizations. McAnsh holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta (2008) and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Waterloo (2003).
