About Sarvar
Sarvar Gahlawat is a criminal defence lawyer whose practice focuses on driving offences and assault-related matters, including impaired and dangerous driving, driving while prohibited, and domestic and non-domestic assault charges. Through his articling and associate positions he gained experience on both the defence and prosecution sides, which helps him anticipate how the Crown will approach a case. He has also practised criminal law in India, giving him a dual licence and a broader analytical perspective. Sarvar holds a B.A., LL.B. (Honours) from O.P. Jindal Global University in India and completed the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. He is fluent in Hindi, has intermediate French, and understands conversational Punjabi.
