About Anisha
Anisha Vohora joined Sondhi Defence at the end of 2023 and now practises as an associate with the firm. Born and raised in New Zealand, she completed her undergraduate studies in political science and equity studies at the University of Toronto before earning an LL.B. with Honours from the University of Kent in England. While in law school she was active in the Canadian Law Society, the Equity Society, and the campus Law Clinic, and competed in mock trial competitions. Before joining Sondhi Defence, she worked with several criminal lawyers in Toronto, served as an executive assistant to an MPP at Queen's Park, and worked in immigration law at Deloitte. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025 and focuses her practice on criminal defence, with particular attention to clients who are also navigating mental health challenges.
