Administrative & Regulatory LawSarah Spitz is a partner practising municipal law and commercial litigation. On the municipal side, she has acted for homeowners, developers, tenants and landowners in expropriation claims across Ontario, and also advises expropriating authorities and residents' associations in planning matters before the Ontario Land Tribunal. Her commercial litigation work covers real property, corporate governance and shareholder disputes, fraud, and professional liability, including complex Anton Piller and Mareva injunction proceedings, and she has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario. Sarah joined the firm in 2018 after articling at Lenczner Slaght LLP, having earned her J.D. from Queen's University in 2017, where she graduated on the Dean's Honours List and won course prizes in Health Law and Trial Advocacy. She also holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University and belongs to the Ontario Bar Association, the Toronto Lawyers' Association and the Ontario Expropriation Association.
