About Sarah

Sarah Gupta is an associate at Lenczner Slaght whose practice covers a broad range of intellectual property litigation, including trademark, copyright, and patent disputes. A master's degree in physiology and pharmacology from Western University gives her a strong technical grounding for pharmaceutical and life sciences matters. Before joining the firm, she summered and articled at a national IP boutique and served as a law clerk for Justice Fothergill of the Federal Court of Canada. She earned her law degree at the University of Ottawa, where she researched copyright policy for Professor Michael Geist and mentored fellow students. As a mooter, she reached the semi-final round and won a best factum prize at the Harold G. Fox Moot. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2022.
