About Sarah
Sarah Dingwell was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. She earned a B.A. in English literature and communications from Memorial University before completing her J.D. at the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Law in 2020. Sarah articled with the Newfoundland and Labrador Legal Aid Commission, working mainly in family law and criminal defence, and was subsequently called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar. After a short time practising there, she relocated to Ontario and joined a full-service firm in Durham Region, focusing on family law. Her practice today covers divorce, custody and access, division of property, separation and cohabitation agreements, and adoption, along with child protection cases and matters involving domestic partner violence. She is admitted to both the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar and the Ontario Bar.
