About Sandy
Sandy Vander Ziel is a partner at DBB Law who has practiced exclusively in family law since joining the firm in 2013, following prior experience at local and national firms since 2002. She is a registered collaborative lawyer, mediator, arbitrator, and dispute resolution officer with the Court of King's Bench, with particular experience in family violence screening and as a Parenting Coordinator. Sandy has represented children through the Legal Representation for Children and Youth Advocacy Program and is past president of both the Association of Collaborative Professionals and the Canadian Bar Association's Family Law Section. She has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada since 2024 for family law and family law mediation.
