About Sandra

Sandra Lakonich is the founder of Lakonich Legal, a Montreal firm focused on business law and alternative dispute resolution. She graduated from the Université de Montréal with a Bachelor of Laws in 2007 and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2009. In 2014 she was accredited as a mediator by the Barreau du Québec, and in 2015 she became a registered practitioner of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts. Her practice covers corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate and leasing, and civil and commercial litigation and mediation, and she appears before the Superior Court of Québec, the Court of Québec, the DIFC Courts and the Québec Rental Board. Earlier in her career she worked as in-house legal counsel in the automotive industry, where she built a legal department and managed litigation and contract matters.
