About Andrew

Andrew Hertzog has practised law for more than 40 years, representing businesses and individuals. He was the senior litigation partner at the downtown Montreal office of a multinational law firm before opening his own practice in Westmount in 2002. His practice covers two main areas, litigation and commercial law, including incorporations, unanimous shareholder and partnership agreements, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, sale and purchase of businesses and business assets, and collection of overdue accounts. He offers a flat-fee 'Legal Check-Up' service reviewing a small business's legal organization and protections. He has obtained victories or settlements for clients against companies including Wal-Mart, Metro, The Gillette Company, McDonald's, Lloyd's of London, Manulife, Chubb Insurance, Sun Life, RBC Dominion Securities, CIBC Wood Gundy, Standard Life, Procter & Gamble, Ivanhoe Cambridge, and the Business Development Bank of Canada.
