About Samantha
Samantha practises business law and wills and estates at Essentia Law, working with owner-managed businesses on acquisitions and sales, incorporations, shareholder agreements, and other corporate matters, and helping individuals and families with trusts, wills, representation agreements, and powers of attorney. She is originally from Germany and is fluent in German, which she draws on when advising clients on matters involving German-language documents or foreign pension taxation. Samantha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Corporate Management in Germany before moving to Canada, where she completed her Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops in 2017 and received the Dean's course prize for Tort law. She articled at a mid-size Kelowna law firm and was a junior on a week-long BC Supreme Court trial.
