About Jessie

Jessie Legaree is a partner at RDM Lawyers and head of the firm's litigation department. Her practice covers family law and adoptions, employment law and estate litigation, and she has conducted trials in several areas of law. She is active with the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, chairing its New Lawyers Committee and sitting on its executive committee, and writes a legislative column for The Verdict magazine. Legaree holds a Bachelor of Arts in political studies and a Master of Arts in interdisciplinary humanities, both from Trinity Western University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. She joined RDM as an articling student in 2015, became a partner in 2021, and shortly after took on the role of Head of Litigation. She also teaches Introduction to Law at Trinity Western University.
