About Samantha

Samantha Eisen is the Principal and Founder of her firm, practising in all areas of family law with particular focus on complex income and property issues, child and spousal support, parenting and decision-making, and matters involving intimate partner and gender-based violence. She is a trained collaborative lawyer with an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School and draws on that training to help clients reach fair and sustainable settlements through negotiation, the collaborative process, and mediation. When settlement isn't possible, she has represented clients at every level of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Before founding her own practice, Samantha worked at two boutique Toronto family law firms, one focused exclusively on family law and the other combining family and civil litigation with an emphasis on gender-based violence cases. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2018 after earning her J.D. from the University of Toronto, and she volunteers with Luke's Place Virtual Legal Clinic and the Pro Bono Students Canada Family Justice Centre, among other organizations.
