About Sabrina

Sabrina A. Gherbaz is a partner at Torys LLP and co-heads the firm's commercial real estate practice. She represents government authorities, major Canadian real estate owners and developers, and financial institutions on large commercial real estate deals and on transit, infrastructure and energy projects. Her work covers transit-oriented and mixed-use developments, public-private partnerships, asset purchase and sale transactions, REITs and commercial leasing. Gherbaz also regularly advises on project, mortgage and construction financing, with experience extending to deals in Europe and Mexico. From 2006 to 2009 she chaired the Ontario chapter of ICSC's government relations committee, and she has written on real property, construction and debtor-creditor law topics.
