About Chelsea

Chelsea Hishon is a senior partner at Beckett Personal Injury Lawyers who works exclusively in the firm's Sexual Abuse Department, representing survivors of both historical and recent sexual abuse, including abuse by teachers, clergy, camp counsellors, and foster parents. Chelsea Hishon's practice spans Ontario and Western Canada and takes a trauma-informed approach to supporting clients. Chelsea Hishon holds an Honours degree in Psychology and Sociology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, where she received the Sharon White Ducharme Memorial Award and the J.W. Whiteside Award for service to the legal community. In October 2023, Chelsea Hishon was appointed to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors, and she regularly speaks on trauma-informed lawyering at Western University's Faculty of Law and at ANOVA's Crisis Line volunteer training.
