About Aaron

Aaron Lealess is a senior partner and the Managing Partner at Beckett Personal Injury Lawyers, focusing on representing victims of sexual abuse alongside personal injury cases. Aaron Lealess graduated with an Honours degree in Economics from McMaster University in 2004, joined Beckett as a law student in 2006 while completing a Bachelor of Laws at Western University, graduated in 2008, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009. Aaron Lealess was co-counsel to Robert Talach in the 2011 trial of K.M.M. v. The Roman Catholic Diocese of London, which resulted in a $610,000 award for a survivor of clergy sexual abuse, and co-counsel in the 2018 jury trial of MacLeod v. Marshall, resulting in a $2.6 million verdict. In 2021, Aaron Lealess negotiated a $1.1 million settlement for a survivor of teacher sexual abuse. Aaron Lealess is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Middlesex Law Association, and the Ontario Bar Association, and has served in the Canadian Forces as a Naval Reserve Officer since 2001.
