About Ryan

Ryan Pelletier practices commercial and general litigation at Pelletier Litigation, with experience in fraud and misappropriation claims, construction and builders' lien disputes, real estate litigation, wills and estates, oil and gas, corporate governance and professional liability matters. He has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and British Columbia, the Federal Court of Canada, and in applications for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. Pelletier also acts as counsel before professional disciplinary tribunals, including the Alberta Securities Commission, the Real Estate Council of Alberta and the Law Society of Alberta. Before focusing on oil and gas litigation, he spent several years as a geophysical technical service consultant. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2006, holds an LLB from the University of Alberta and a BA (Hon) from the University of Calgary, and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association. He also serves as Director of the Calgary chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
