About Ryan

Ryan Kary began practising in Calgary before moving in-house as counsel in the oil and gas industry and later serving as General Counsel for a Western Canadian design-builder. Kary earned an LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 2007 and a B.Com. from the University of Victoria, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2008 and the British Columbia bar in 2019. The practice focuses on construction litigation, delay and deficiency disputes, builders' lien litigation and construction-sector employment law, with trial experience in both BC and Alberta and appearances before the Alberta Court of Appeal. Kary has also participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations before municipal tribunals and boards.
