About Russell

Russell Laing articled at a national, full-service firm before his call to the bar in 2005. He focuses exclusively on personal injury litigation, covering product liability, occupiers' liability, and motor vehicle accident claims. He has served as lead counsel on trials, appeals, and motions before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court, and has appeared before numerous administrative tribunals. Russell studied political science and economics at the University of Western Ontario before earning his law degree from Queen's University in 2004, where he was involved with the Community Legal Aid Clinic and competed in several moot court competitions. He also writes and speaks at conferences for the personal injury bar.
