About Rushi

Rushi works across TGF's Restructuring and Insolvency and Commercial Litigation groups, where she researches legal issues and prepares documents for both areas. She started at the firm as an articling student. As an undergraduate she completed an independent research project that led to a publication in a peer-reviewed microbiology journal, and in law school she worked as a research assistant on intellectual property, competition and privacy law while placing as a moot finalist. She also worked as a caseworker for Windsor Community Legal Aid, worked for two criminal defence lawyers, and volunteered at a personal injury law firm. Rushi earned her HBSc from the University of Toronto in 2019 and her J.D. from the University of Windsor in 2022, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2023. She belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Turnaround Management Association.
