About Ronan
Ronan Mallovy is an associate at Phillips Barristers, working in Aboriginal law, class actions and civil litigation. He first joined the firm as a summer student, completed his articles there, and returned as an associate in 2025. He finished the combined JD/MA English program at the University of Toronto in 2024 with Distinction, picking up awards for tort law, constitutional law and oral advocacy along the way, plus a legal writing scholarship for research on extralegal responses to climate change. He was called to the Ontario bar in June 2025 and remains focused on climate-related legal issues.
