About Jacob

Jacob is a lawyer in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, with a broad municipal law and civil litigation practice. As a member of Gowling WLG's national Municipal Law Group and national Expropriation Law Group, he regularly represents clients in a variety of areas, including: Jacob has represented all sides of the development industry, including developers, municipalities, and community organizations. He has also acted on land use planning issues for companies in the burgeoning cannabis industry. Jacob is a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, teaching Municipal and Planning Law.
