About Del

Del Elgersma is a founding partner of Beacon Law Centre, practising in business law, estate planning and trusts, and real estate. He assists business owners with corporate reorganizations for tax or succession planning, including estate freeze transactions, holding companies, and discretionary family trusts, and has written wills in plain language since early in his career. He began his career in Vancouver at a real estate conveyancing firm, was called to the BC Bar in 1992, and moved to the Saanich Peninsula in 1996. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and has chaired several of its sections, and has served on community boards including the Saanich Peninsula Memorial Park Society and Saanich Marine Rescue Society.
