About Roisin

Roisin (Ro) Burrington is an associate lawyer at Craig Hooker Shiskin, where she practices criminal defence. She graduated from the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law after completing a joint major in Archaeology and History of Art, and a Master's degree in the History of Art, Collections and Curation, at University College Dublin. During law school she volunteered with Student Legal Assistance at the University of Calgary, representing clients in criminal, family and civil matters, and completed both halves of her articles there and at Craig Hooker Shiskin. She was called to the bar in 2025 and continues building her criminal defence practice at the firm. Ro also sits on the Board of Directors of the Alberta Prison Justice Society.
