Ian McKay's practice focuses on investigation response, crisis management advising, and criminal and regulatory defence. He is routinely retained by organizations, business executives, professionals, and other law firms for advice, defence, and opinions in times of crisis, and is recognized internationally as a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Mr. McKay has represented clients in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories, and has worked with counsel in other countries on extra-territorial matters. He is designated King's Counsel, is President of the Alberta Criminal Justice Association, and is a member of the Calgary Criminal Defence Lawyers Association. He is called to the bar in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
