About Robert

Robert R. Goguen, K.C. is one of the founding partners of Actus Law Droit. He left the firm in 2011 to serve as Member of Parliament for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe and was later appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General, before rejoining Actus Law Droit in 2015. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, bankruptcy and insolvency law, civil litigation, and personal injury law. A fluently bilingual native of Moncton, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (1980) and a Bachelor of Laws (1983), both from the Université de Moncton, and was admitted to the bar in 1984. He has lectured at the Law Society's bar admission course in bankruptcy and insolvency law, corporate and commercial law, and civil litigation.
