About Robert

Robert Miller is a partner at Chaitons LLP and heads the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, focusing on commercial real estate development. He works with condominium, freehold, and commercial property developers, including fractional condominium projects in Muskoka, Simcoe, and Niagara, and has consulted on similar projects in Quebec and Florida. Rob also acts for purchasers, vendors, and lenders of commercial and residential income-producing properties, representing private and public corporations, joint venture partners, co-tenancies, and REITs, and he represents developers and buyers and sellers of health care facilities such as retirement residences and long-term care homes. He has served as independent counsel for sureties providing Tarion Bonds and deposit insurance policies to condominium developers. Called to the Ontario bar in 1984, Rob holds an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School, and he is the firm's association contact for the Building Industry and Land Development Association.
