Employment & Labour LawBob Blair's practice focuses on representing trade unions across a range of industries in Alberta and elsewhere in Canada. He appears regularly before the Alberta Labour Relations Board, the British Columbia Labour Relations Board, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, arbitration boards, human rights tribunals, and the courts. Earlier in his career he chaired the Alberta Labour Relations Board from 1994 to 1999 and chaired Ontario's Office of Adjudication, where he adjudicated matters under Ontario's occupational health and safety and employment standards legislation. He also served as senior solicitor to the Ontario Ministry of Labour and worked as a labour lawyer in Vancouver and as a staff lawyer at the Labour Relations Board of British Columbia. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 1982, in Alberta in 1999, and in the Northwest Territories in 2012. He holds a B.A. from the University of Lethbridge and an LL.B. from Queen's University.
