Employment & Labour LawLeanne Chahley represents trade unions and their members across most areas of labour law, acting for unions in both the public and private sectors, including the construction industry. Her practice has taken her before arbitrations, labour relations boards, human rights tribunals, pay equity tribunals, public inquiries, and coroner's inquests, as well as courts at various levels in Alberta and Ontario and before the Supreme Court of Canada. She is a past president of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. Chahley earned a B.A. from the University of Alberta in 1980 and an LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1983, and was called to the Alberta bar the same year.
