About Robert

Bob Kennedy is counsel at McDougall Gauley LLP in Saskatoon, focusing on civil litigation and arbitration in complex corporate and commercial disputes, including breach of contract and professional malpractice matters. He has argued cases before all levels of court in Saskatchewan, the Alberta and Manitoba Courts of King's Bench, the Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Bob served as a Bencher of the Law Society of Saskatchewan and as Vice-Chair and Commissioner of the Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission, and has lectured in civil procedure at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law since 2007. He was named Lawyer of the Year for Personal Injury Litigation in Saskatoon in 2021 and appointed Queen's Counsel in 2001. Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan, in 1974 and 1975, and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 1977.
