Daigneault has worked in the environmental field for close to 45 years, first as a biologist, then as a manager, and now as a lawyer, and has led Daigneault, avocats inc. since February 2001. He spent ten years with Quebec's Ministere de l'Environnement, then founded and led the environmental law department at Lapointe Rosenstein from 1990 to 2001. He co-authors the reference treatise 'L'environnement au Quebec' and has taught environmental auditing candidates at the Universite de Sherbrooke since 1998 and previously taught Canadian and Quebec environmental law in France. In 2015 the Barreau du Quebec awarded him the Advocatus Emeritus (Ad. E.) distinction for his exceptional contribution to Quebec's legal community.
