About Rita
Rita Asangarani is the founder and managing lawyer of Rita Asangarani Law Firm Professional Corporation. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, studied victimology at the International Inter-University of Dubrovnik in Croatia, and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa with an exchange at the University of Puerto Rico, specializing in technology law. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2013 and clerked at the Canada Agricultural Review Tribunal during her articles. Rita has over 20 years of experience in the Ontario real estate market, having worked in both real estate brokerages and law firms, and handles refinancing, sales, purchases, commercial real estate, negotiations, land severances, and business asset transactions. She offers her services in English and Farsi, is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the County of Carleton Law Association, and sits on the board of the Roy n' Cher Animal Rescue Farm Charity.
