About Ripan

Ripan Hans has practiced strata property law since 2018, advising strata corporations, owners, and residents on bylaw and rule drafting, enforcement, and broader governance matters including council authority, meeting procedures, and voting. She also advises on repair and maintenance obligations, common property use, privacy matters, and compliance with the Strata Property Act, combining solicitor work with dispute resolution. She has represented clients before the Civil Resolution Tribunal, the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner, and all levels of court in British Columbia, including the Court of Appeal. She has contributed to the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia's Strata Property Practice Manual and has presented on housing and tenancy law, with commentary featured by the CBC.
