About Renn
Renn Holness has practised personal injury law exclusively since being called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1995, appearing before all levels of court in British Columbia including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. He began his career at the firm of Taylor, MacLellan & Cochrane in 1992 and has handled cases involving serious brain injury, spinal cord injury, and mental injury, with trial awards cited in the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest. In 2021 he was awarded double costs after a BC Supreme Court judge found his pre-trial settlement offer to ICBC ought reasonably to have been accepted. Renn is a graduate of the Schulich School of Law and a practising member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia, with a special interest in complex injuries and civil appeals.
