About Rebecca
Rebecca (Becky) Peters became a partner at Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP in 2009, several years after articling there and being called to the bar in 2003 following her law degree from the University of Windsor in 2002. She had earlier completed a Bachelor of Arts in English at McMaster University in 1993 and a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution at Niagara College. Land development and severance applications form a significant part of her work, which centres on real estate, land use, and planning matters, and she also represents numerous condominium corporations from their initial creation through ongoing enforcement issues. Peters spent time as an instructor teaching Real Estate, Landlord and Tenant law, and Ethics through Niagara College's Law Clerk Program, sat on the program's Advisory Committee, and now volunteers as a Career Coach with the Ontario Career Lab. She holds memberships in the Welland County Law Association, the Niagara Falls Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
