About David
At Sullivan Mahoney, David M. Willer works across commercial real estate, general corporate and commercial matters, commercial leasing, and wills and estates, with real estate files spanning the purchase, sale, financing, and development of shopping centres, vacant land, industrial facilities, and hotels. His corporate work ranges from asset sales to share purchases, and he also assists clients with corporate reorganizations and tax and estate planning. He earned a B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Toronto's St. Michael's College in 1999, a J.D. from the University of Toronto in 2002, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Osgoode Hall (York University) in 2019, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2003. He completed Parts I and II of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course and the Canadian Securities Course, and has taught Law and Construction Contracts at George Brown College and Business Law at Brock University. He is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Lincoln County Law Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Niagara Tax Consultation Group, an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Canada), a director of Family and Children's Services Niagara, and president of the Historical Society of St. Catharines.
