About Randy
Randy Brant practises family law, family mediation, wills and estates, and residential real estate at SV Law from its Guelph and Waterloo offices. His family law work covers complex property disputes, parenting, and support issues, often for business owners, farmers, and other high net worth clients. While he favours mediation where possible, he has tried cases in the Superior Court of Justice and argued before the Ontario Court of Appeal. On the estate side, he drafts wills and powers of attorney and has handled guardianship, Henson Trusts, and estate administration and litigation. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1991 after earning an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto. Randy is a past president of the Wellington Law Association.
