Wills, Estates & TrustsRamesh Karkee is a Barrister & Solicitor practising in Toronto and the founder of Karkee Law Firm Professional Corporation. He was called to the Nepal Bar Council as an advocate in 2000 and spent seven years litigating and teaching business law part time at Tribhuvan University, representing clients including major Nepalese and international banks. After moving to Canada, he obtained an LL.M. at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013, completed the Internationally Trained Lawyer's Program at the University of Toronto in 2014, and earned his Certification of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2015. He worked as a licensed paralegal and later an internationally trained lawyer with Paul Anthony Dineen at Chapnick & Associates in Toronto, focusing on immigration, real estate and business law, before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2019 and founding his own firm. His practice today covers real estate, family law, business and corporate law, and wills and powers of attorney, and he has published a number of articles on commercial arbitration and business law topics.
