About Tanya

Tanya Martin joined KazLaw in November 2013 after representing insurance companies, including ICBC, as defence counsel for over 12 years. She has practised law since 2001, initially defending personal injury, disability, and employment claims, and now applies her knowledge of defence strategies to represent injured clients. She has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. She published 'A Call to Service: Preserving our Professionalism in the New Business Model' in The Advocate, Vol. 73, Part 3, May 2015.
